The findings and discussions of the second journal article

Hello, everyone! It's been a week since i posted something to this blog. Today, i'd like to share new topic, but still related to the previous blog because i still use the same material.

The topic i'd like to talk about is the findings and discussions of the journal article i was reading.

In Kelsen's study case (2009), found the students used youtube only as an entertaining platform at the first, but it turned out that 39 of 60 students found youtube videos was related to the subject they learnt. And 21 of 24 students found youtube motivated them to learn English either inside or outside the classroom.

In 2010, Alimemaj also examined that youtube can help the participants to improve their speaking and listening skills. Also, it helps them to gain more knowledge since they are free to repeat the youtube video many times.

More (2015) also had an analyzing about the impact of youtube as a teaching tool for learning activities. The finding showed that youtube is more functional to be applied than applying the traditional method because it gained more students participation.

From all the previous study conducted by some schoolar it showed that youtube could increase students' English ability especially in improving students' listening ability, speaking ability, and increase students' vocabularies. Moreover students' affective aspect towards watching youtube video can motivate them to learn English, especially listening skill, more because most of them are enjoyed and interested with the topic they learnt.

I think that's all about the findings and discussions content from the journal article i was reading. I hope youtube can be an alternative for teachers to improve students' listening ability. See you in another blog, everyone!

Most of them prefer to be silent than talking or sharing it to other people. I sometimes find it hard for myself to keep these problems. I feel like world needs to know about my problems. It's actually not a good way, i realized that. I'm trying to erase this habit. It's billion percent would be better to find a solut...
